Sidewalk?
I know several people have expressed interest in asking the city to extend the sidewalk along 42nd street so we could all walk to Kroger, the Farmers Market, the Mall, etc. Any ideas on this? If anyone has ever walked it, you know it's pretty dangerous until you get to Cardinal Drive. I e-mailed the mayor, but maybe if there is enough interest we could work together as a community on the issue. But again, there may only be a few people wanting it, and some may think it is a bad idea? Any thoughts? Would anyone be willing to work on a petition drive to give to the city council?

I think this is a great idea. Maybe when they widen the rest of 42nd street they will add sidewalks.
I definetely support the construction of new sidewalks along 42nd st. It would be nice to be able to walk to the mall or to Kroger if need be.
